The Ranch Vail

THE RANCH VAIL BACHELOR GULCH, COLORADO

An exclusive and special opportunity to reset your health in a breathtaking alpine setting this Fall.

Goal: Reset your health this year via a pop-up program immersed in Colorado’s natural splendor

Whether you’re a celeb looking to trim down for your next movie role, a CEO in need of a digital detox, or a mom who simply needs a reset, The Ranch Malibu has become a hot spot for in-the-know wellness seekers. With its meteoric rise in popularity, the resort is now branching out beyond its California home base with pop-up locations around the globe. Coming soon: Vail, Colorado, a renowned ski town that is particularly beautiful in the fall. The Ranch Vail wellness program will be offered from September 3 to October 27, 2023.

“The Ranch has an alumni return rate of nearly 50 percent, so introducing new locations gives our loyal following a way to experience the program in new nature-inspired settings, while still gaining the physical and mental benefits of the signature program,” says Alex Glasscock, cofounder and CEO of The Ranch.

Set in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Vail was a natural choice since hiking in nature is a key element of The Ranch experience. The Ranch Vail will be hosted at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch, which offers access to hundreds of miles of spectacular trails in the Bachelor Gulch area, Beaver Creek and the White River National Forest.

“Partnering with such an esteemed hospitality brand also ensures The Ranch guests receive the same five-star service, attention to detail and luxurious accommodations as they do at The Ranch’s programs in Malibu and Italy,” says Glasscock.

Many of the core elements of The Ranch’s signature program will remain the same in Vail, including a daily schedule of four-hour morning mountain hikes, nap time, afternoon strength and core training classes, restorative yoga and a daily massage.

Unlike the original Ranch location in Malibu, Vail will have a slightly shorter stay option of five nights versus six. Another difference: “The altitude and scenery on the hikes will be quite different in Vail and given the timing of our program, guests will be treated to incredible fall foliage as the season changes,” says Glasscock.

When it comes to the culinary program, The Ranch Malibu’s Executive Chef Meredith Haaz will be working with Jasper Schneider, Executive Chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch, to create dishes that are healthy—and delicious. “The Ranch Vail will follow the same ideals as The Ranch Malibu,” says Haaz. “Guests will enjoy a 1,400 calorie-a-day, plant-based diet for the week that is free of gluten, soy, caffeine and alcohol.”

All the meals in Vail will incorporate Colorado’s seasonal and local produce. But fans of The Ranch will be happy to know that some of the signature items that have gained a following in California—like the Ranch Granola and Energy Bites—will also be on the menu.

The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch, will spoil guests with its luxurious amenities, including three Jacuzzis, a massive heated pool and a 21,000-square-foot spa complete with relaxation lounges, steam rooms, dry saunas, hot and cold plunge pools, and a stone-lined coed grotto.

Another thing going for the Vail location: “The clean air and high altitude contribute to the wellness experience as both your heart rate and respiratory rate increase as the altitude increases, which helps to pump oxygen through the body,” says Glasscock.

It all adds up to a Rocky Mountain high. theranchmalibu.com/health-and-fitness-programs/the-ranch-vail/
