Astrology-inspired spa rituals are redefining wellness, blending zodiac wisdom, moon cycles, and personalized treatments into deeply meaningful, restorative escapes worldwide.
As interest in horoscopes, the zodiac wheel, and all the ways we directors around the globe are curating astrology-derived wellness experiences that are as unique as their guests.
The goal: to add meaning and intention to each spa treatment and offer guests a unique holistic reset. Here, five spas that are leaning into sharing different aspects of the metaphysical with spa goers and forging unique “astrological wellness” experiences.

StolenTime in Saint Lucia
Sign-Specific Itineraries are an Added Plus
No matter which of the 12 astrological signs is aligned with your birth date, you’re guaranteed to learn something fascinating about yourself when you book one of the Astro Retreat itineraries at StolenTime, a beachfront wellness resort in Saint Lucia. These itineraries, which have been offered for a year and were developed by the AstroTwins, ELLE magazine’s resident astrologers, are curated to each zodiac sign. For example, a guest might book an island tour and snorkel adventure to feed a Gemini’s constant curiosity, a beachfront art class for the intuitive Cancer to boost comfort and support emotional wellbeing for this water sign, or include a balance of hard work and relaxing indulgences, like a mountain hike to the Pitons and hot stone massage for disciplined Capricorns.
Guests are craving a deeper framework for self-reflection, says Lisa Gardner, StolenTime’s general manager. “Zodiac-based guidance allows us to tailor treatments and activities specifically to a guest’s personality and needs,” she says. “This transforms a spa escape into a journey of self-discovery rather than just relaxation.”
Moon-Gazing is Grounding for Guests
It’s all about connecting to the stars at the Cara Organic Spa at Carlisle Bay Antigua, where celestial-inspired spa treatments are most definitely on the menu. For example, the 90-minute Moonlight Ritual, held under the full moon, invites guests to enter their next phase feeling renewed and empowered.
The ceremony begins with a reflection, sage, and Palo Santo aromatherapy, and meditation to help guests feel grounded. Participants then sit together for intention writing and a fire ceremony as a gesture of gratitude and letting go. The ritual continues with a moon bath in warm, crystal-charged water using moonstone, selenite, and quartz, along with sound healing through chimes and bowls for vibrational harmony.
The finale: an herbal tea offering and moon water elixir as a symbolic seal of renewal. “These experiences feel personal, intuitive, and emotionally grounding, which is exactly what many people are seeking right now,” says Michelle Plummer, Cara’s spa manager. “Zodiac and moon-based treatments turn a spa vacation into a meaningful ritual, which feels more memorable and soulful.”

Eastern Energy Work Prompts a Feeling of Renewal
Guided astrological coaching and astrology readings are just two of the options available to spa guests at The Horse Shoe Farm in Asheville, North Carolina. At this boutique mountain retreat, two- to three-hour long immersive experiences are a big draw for guests. “These are energetically based and influenced by medical astrology so, for example, if when I take a guest’s energetic pulses and note that her air element is excessive, I can do a complete bodywork treatment that is centered around balancing her body’s air element,” says Melisa Austin, the 85-acre resort’s lead massage therapist. “Essentially, all of these treatments are based in Eastern bodywork and it’s been so satisfying to see how much our guests get out of these experiences.”

A Spa Menu Built around Celestial Moments
For the past year, guests staying at Cayo Levantado Resort, an all-inclusive getaway nestled on a secluded private island in the heart of the Dominican Republic’s Samaná Bay, have been able to experience a myriad of fascinating treatments at Yubarta, the resort’s open-air holistic wellness center, hidden in the island’s tropical gardens.
Known as the Celestial Wellness menu, the treatments all aim to help guests connect with the wonders of nature.
“The goal of these ceremonies and rituals is to help guests find balance and reconnect with their hidden rhythms by aligning themselves with the phases of the moon and the changing seasons,” says Florangel Pena, Yubarta’s spa director. “These ceremonies are a chance to pause, reflect, and connect with the inner self.”
Included in some of the rituals: journaling, sound healing, and oracle or tarot card readings.
“We also do intuitive dances, cacao ceremonies, guided astral meditations geared to an individual’s astrological sign, and more,” Pena says. “We see these spa services as a way to help our guests plant seeds for the future, to embrace new beginnings, and leave our spa feeling grateful for where they are and what the future holds.”

Tapping into a Private Astrology Consult
During an Astrology Vibe Check at Hotel Valley Ho’s VH Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona, guests sit down with Monica Milewski, a Phoenix-based practitioner of psychological astrology, who uses the guest’s birth charts, including the person’s date of birth, time frame, and location of their birth, since the positions of the planets in the sky at the moment of your birth determine your sun sign, moon sign, rising sign, and more.
Over the course of these hour-long sessions that take place in this mid-century modern hotel that dates to 1956, the astrologer frames the discussion around your past as well as what awaits. “It gives you such incredible insight,” says Michele Fletcher, VH’s spa director, who had her own chart read before the experience was officially available to spa guests. “There are things she can speak about to give you guidance, like maybe you need more self-awareness or maybe certain behaviors or character traits are linked to your chart.”
Having a reading is often done in combination with a wellness day or it’s scheduled before or after a spa treatment, Fletcher adds. “We’re seeing that guests are really interested in incorporating mental wellness alongside the physical,” she says. Best of all, guests get to keep their chart and the hope is that they will continue referring to it in the days, months, and even years after checkout.
“Everything aligns with the stars and this experience helps our spa guests learn about the cycles and patterns we create in our lives,” Fletcher says. “Our astrologer guides guests through the steps it takes to grow because there are always ways we can improve and there’s so much information to learn from the past, present, and into the future.”
