RANCHO PESCADERO

BAJA, MEXICO

Journey to where your mind opens, your body heals, and your soul revives.

Rancho Pescadero is an awakening- an exploration that encompasses the free spirit, rich culture, and lyrical beauty of Baja California, Mexico. Where wellness is experienced in its most complete sense: the joy of living well.

After a triumphant return last year, 2023 looks to be one of creative reinvention, with new experiences designed to take guests on a journey of rediscovery.

Strung along a breathtaking stretch of coastline, about an hour north of Cabo San Lucas, this resort offers soul-stirring views of the Sierra Laguna Mountains, pristine beaches and the crashing waves of the Pacific Ocean.

In a nod to the famous neighboring artist colony of Todos Santos—Rancho Pescadero is in itself an oasis of curated regional art and design that inspires. Authentic Baja character and locally sourced materials and textiles punctuate the luxurious 103 rooms, suites and villas, which are comprised of integrated indoor and outdoor living areas, artisanal design and thoughtful amenities, including private terraces, firepits and plunge pools.

The resort is surrounded by lush desert gardens and farms, highlighting the best of Baja, including an ethnobotanical garden, garden conservatory, tropical garden, cut-flower garden, biodiverse arroyo garden, bird sanctuary and a huerta (vegetable garden).

Bespoke experiences reframe mind, body, spirit

Learning experiences also indulge the psyche, ranging from art excursions to culinary master classes. Create your own ingredients-inspired meal or signature cocktail.

Well-crafted experiences allow guests to achieve a creative state and mental reset. Spiritual connection is fostered through guided meditation, traditional spiritual ceremonies, Tarot card readings and sound healing sessions.

Led by local artisans, other immersion and learning experiences include craft classes to make your own lotions and body balms using botanicals grown on-site, painting and wine events and build your own bouquet classes.

And within a short drive of the resort are desert ATV tours, golf, biking, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, paddle-boarding, kayaking, kite boarding, windsurfing, surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, sea turtle hatchery, whale watching and—for the more adventurous—swimming with whale sharks.

Dining at Rancho Pescadero is drawn from the local abundance of Baja and rendered to world-class standards, with organic ingredients blended to lift the spirit, harvested on-site, all following a mission of sustainability. Guests savor fare at Kahal oceanfront restaurant, the Centro Café and Botanica Garden restaurant.

Sustainability is the mission here

Rancho Pescadero leads an earth-friendly effort that includes maintaining its own water treatment plant, building a desalination plant to provide water for human use, as well as a solar farm with the goal of being completely sustainable. With robust recycling and composting programs, it also strives to become a zero-waste property.

The aptly named 25,000-square-foot Botanica Spa seeks to unlock the wisdom and marvel of surrounding nature. Complementing a broad range of therapeutic, massage, beauty and wellness treatments are dedicated studios for meditation, Pilates and yoga. A lap pool, hydrotherapy circuit, fitness center and pickle ball courts round out the fitness amenities.

This adults-only resort is part of Hyatt’s Unbound Collection and a member of Virtuoso.
