Last fall, 111SKIN announced the opening of its first exclusive spa location in the United States at The Plaza Hotel. The brand, founded by world-renowned plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr. Yannis Alexandrides, brings its signature science-based approach to New York City in an 8,000-square foot space that’s as chic as its location on Fifth Avenue and Central Park. And while the hotel is famous for many things, this spa, featuring high-end treatment rooms and a calming relaxation lounge, feels almost like an IYKYK hidden gem that’s tucked discreetly away on the property’s fourth floor.
Treatments here range from massages, facials, and body treatments–including signature facials such as the brand’s Black Diamond Non-Surgical Lift Facial and Glass Skin Facial. We experienced the Reparative Longevity Facial, which utilizes ultrasound and LED therapy and is ideal for sensitive and rosacea-prone skin (as in, not stinging sensation to be had). The treatment uses 111SKIN’s signature NAC Y2TM complex, formulated with antioxidants that address dryness and irritation, restoring balance and bounciness. The facial is deeply hydrating and includes a generous facial and décolleté massage.
All treatments end with a cup of tea or Champagne in the spa’s soothing lounge–along with a glow that lasts long after the facial ends.
