THE LODGE AT WOODLOCH

PENNSYLVANIA

The Lodge at Woodloch embraces a philosophy of personal awakening. As so many individuals get swept up in the whirlwind of life, our luxury Poconos resort gives you an opportunity to shift from your everyday routine and re-focus on yourself. You are able to reconnect to creative and stress-relieving outlets that will continue to benefit you long after you leave.

Autumn in the Poconos Mountains is alive with rapturous views, tastes and scents. Nestled on 500+ wooded acres in the mountains, The Lodge at Woodloch ramps up its fall-inspired activity schedule to make the most of its stunning environs. Fall foliage walks. S’mores pairings. Seasonal foraging. It’s all part of the attention the all-inclusive mountain spa resort pays to personal awakening and renewal.

The untouched beauty of the outdoors is beckoned in through floor-to-ceiling windows, verandas and terraces throughout the resort.

Upon entering the main Garden Hall, rich with foliage and an impressive 14-foot glass cupola, guests encounter a set of three oversized chakra bowls, which are rung to set the tone for the rest of their stay.

Guided outdoor experiences change with the seasons, including Forest Bathing, Nocturnal Walks, the Tusten Mountain Hike and Snowshoeing. An Outdoor Experiences Concierge works with guests to create a bespoke experience, through hiking, biking, fishing, disc golf and archery. Those with an artful bent will appreciate the recently expanded Art Studio, which hosts seasonally changing classes from traditional mediums such as painting, sketching and pastels, as well as unique twists such as Zendoodle.

A sanctuary for the senses, The Lodge’s 40,000-square-foot spa includes an Aqua Garden complete with therapeutic soaking pools and dramatic Hydromassage WaterWalls surrounded by native boulders.

As part of its holistic approach to wellness, this year the resort unveiled the Snow Room by TechnoAlpin. Designed to resemble the surrounding nature, the room is reminiscent of a snowy forest, replete with tree-stump stools, trees, a snowy mural and lighting to enhance deep relaxation. Compact dry snow and crisp, cold air are pleasantly chilling. Body massages with fresh snow intensify the gentle cold experience, which relieves inflammation, muscle and joint pain; boosts circulation; stimulates the immune system; and promotes detoxification, fat burning and stress reduction.

The Snow Room is an ideal complement to other new experiences, such as the refreshing Tyrolean Bucket Shower and Himalayan Salt Sauna with Salt Wall. These treatments follow centuries-old practices that produce mind and body benefits by heating and cooling the body. Heat calms, soothes and slows internal organ activity, while cold temperatures stimulate and reinvigorate.

Complementing the spa treatments is TREE Restaurant and Bar, which overlooks a 15-acre lake and serves artfully crafted farm-to-table organic cuisine. thelodgeatwoodloch.com
