HIDDEN POND

From the moment you arrive at Hidden Pond, you will know you’re in for an altogether different experience. Surrounded by 60 acres of birch groves and balsam fir in Kennebunkport, Maine, our private luxury resort features two outdoor swimming pools, a three-room treetop spa, and organic dining at our award-winning restaurant Earth at Hidden Pond, all just minutes from Goose Rocks Beach.

With all the seclusion and solitude its name implies, Hidden Pond resort includes an ultra-private and luxuriously appointed collection of 46 one- and two-bedroom cottages and bungalows nestled within a 60-acre spread of birch groves and balsam firs.

For an immersive perch overlooking the resplendent vistas, the resort also recently opened 10 rustic Treetop Lodges, which include studios and one-bedroom suites. Each accommodation is uniquely decorated to reflect the quaint style esthetic of Kennebunkport. Highlights range from full kitchens and wet bars to screened-in porches, fireplaces and outdoor showers. Thoughtful concierge care here means a thermos of coffee and pastry left at your door each morning.

The Tree Spa sits far above ground

For signature rejuvenating treatments, the Tree Spa is set eight feet aboveground, and includes a couples treatment suite and Serenity Lounge for self-meditation and yoga. Mats are provided for daily outdoor morning slow flow yoga for all skill levels.

In addition to the Fitness Studio, guests can request in-room Hydro Rowing Machines, The Mirror and Peloton bikes.

This eco-chic resort invites guests to take guided forest bathing and therapy walks orchestrated by Certified Forest Therapy Guide Jeanne Christie. She leads guests through Hidden Pond’s surrounding wilderness of trees, plants and animals that are lifelong residents of the resort, providing a special opportunity to connect more deeply with nature.

Complimentary bikes and gardening tools are available to guests

Garden programming at the two on-site organic gardens includes creating a colorful bouquet of wildflowers to brighten your cottage. The community Potting Shed has everything needed, from gardening shears to lovely glass vases.

Complimentary bicycles, stargazing and an artist on property round out the charming amenities.

Local farmers and foragers—as well as heirloom herbs and vegetables picked daily at the resort’s own gardens—provide building blocks for the organic cuisine at acclaimed Earth at Hidden Pond. The restaurant offers a robust farm-to-fork menu and an unforgettable dining experience that will leave you yearning for more.

For an invigorating complement to the forest, the scenic Goose Rocks Beach and roaring Atlantic Ocean awaits only a two-minute bike ride away.
