Fortunately, warmer and longer days are finally here–and it’s time to start thinking about sprucing up your balcony or terrace. As a designer, I like to have choices such as the smart and sustainable planter system by EcoForms.
There are six product lines, each with its unique purpose, but they all share the same contemporary sensibility. The Nova Series is great for houseplants and patio pots. You can group together several sizes of the round planters in varying earth tones. In contrast, the Quadra series has a more modern edge; the square planters look great in a straight line and are perfect for windowsills, tabletops, and balconies. A long saucer can be purchased to unite three of the smaller-sized pots in a row. This creates a nice design element and automatically brings order to a space. Choose between using three matching colors or a mixed color scheme of harvest, turquoise, and mocha.
EcoForms is the perfect combination of style and sustainability. The cheerful planters are made from rice hulls, which is the inedible part of the grain, and natural binding agents that are biodegradable. Only a small amount of water is used during the binding process and the organic pigments for the colorful designs are eco-friendly. No materials are wasted during the production process; all excess scrap pieces are recycled. The company is based in Northern California and was originally founded over thirty years ago as a nursery, providing clients with organic plants.
