A strategic, creative, and analytical tourism industry leader. Steve is often described by the tourism trade as immensely passionate, creative, professional, trustworthy, and reliable. Steve serves as marketing manager with the TAT – NY Office. Under his guidance, Thailand is now well positioned among leading industry travel consortiums as an affordable luxury tourism destination. His mantra continues to be the effective positioning of Thailand as the top and leading quality tourism destination in south east Asia. Moreover, his efforts helped Thailand formalize its outreach to the LGBTQ+ travel community. Today, Thailand enjoys a well-respected position among the LGBTQ+ travel trade and media. Steve also spear headed the development of the Thai the Knot Specialist Program that continues to be an effective, fun, tech savvy educational tool for the travel trade.
Steve’s immediate response to the COVID 19 pandemic is testament to his skill. “From Thailand With Love” was his brainchild. It served as an effective and relevant campaign through which Thailand could maintain and build relevant share of voice during the pandemic. The campaign saw great success. In addition, the introduction of a carefully curated webinar series allowed for fun and educational interaction among the travel trade. Steve’s sound knowledge of Thailand, respected relationship with the US travel trade coupled with his well established and productive relationship with the hotel and DMC sectors in Thailand makes him an important team player given the challenges ahead.
