Skincando: Military Grade Skincare

By Rona Berg / November 2, 2018

Founded by aesthetician Sara Damelio, Skincando is a line of organic beauty products created to solve skin problems: bug bites, sunburn and extremely dry skin. It was shipped to the U.S. military in Afghanistan, especially the Combat-Ready Bug Repellent, a natural botanical bug spray used by U.S. troops to repel sand fleas and mosquitoes, and Combat-Ready Balm. (Operation Sand Flea is a nonprofit wing of Skincando that donates a portion of the Combat-Ready products to members of the U.S. military.)

The Skincando Combat-Ready Balm is the ultimate all-purpose balm, to soothe dryness, post-shaving burn, chafing, jock itch, bug bites, sunburn, windburn, and anything else that soldiers—or civilians—may require.
