The greeting from Founder and Spa Director Donna Perillo, and her well-trained staff, is just as warm. Plus, there are no nasty chemical smells; the focus is on natural nail care and cleanliness is paramount—all good reasons why Sweet Lily is one of my favorite nail salons anywhere.
Sweet Lily recently launched a seasonal Lavender Oat Milk pedicure, which is so relaxing and dreamy that you just might fall asleep during the treatment. According to Perillo, “Lavender oil soothes dry skin, relieves stress and is a natural antiseptic. Oat milk naturally moisturizes the skin. And sea salt exfoliates dead cells and expels toxins from the body.”
The treatment begins with a foot massage and exfoliation with a pretty little muslin bag filled with herbs—“it allows us to create a nice blend of sea salt and fresh lavender buds,” says Perillo—and a lavender sugar scrub. After your nails and toes are attended to, the feet are wrapped in soothing hot towels, and the lower legs are massaged with oil.
