Poultice Making at The Lodge at Woodloch

The Lodge at Woodloch takes its cues from nature. One of the most popular spa treatments at The Lodge is the Restorative Herbal Massage using Hot Poultices. The Poultices are hand tied on property by our Master Herbalist using herbs from our own Farm-to-Table Garden as well as other healing herbs. The Hot Poultices are steamed just before the treatment enveloping the room in natural aromatherapy. The poultices can also be used as a cold compress to help relieve stress or as a bath tea.
