Shopping for your significant other, or the father in your life
So it’s June, and once again we honor the men (fathers) in our lives. I’m always trying to give my husband a “green makeover” but this year I let him pick products that he liked from skincare to clothing and accessories. So here are some sustainable products from my man to yours, and his picks also make great Father’s Day gifts.
Karim (pronounced Kareem) loves products by Shea Moisture. He uses body products in the Coconut and Hibiscus line. For his beard grooming he starts off with Shea Moisture Shave Cleanse and Beard Lifter– to groom his beard and cleanse his face. Five years ago when we got married it was much more difficult to find something fashionable for men in the sustainable market. A lot of companies are now including entire eco-collections; even major retailers like H&M are doing the green thing.
Karim is a competitive martial artist and commutes around town on his bike. His style is sporty, and he is very picky when it comes to quality and performance in his gear. He really likes to wear mostly black, but I can usually talk him into switching up the all-black motif for date night. He was thrilled that one of his favorite brands, Timberland, has an entire line that is eco-friendly. Here are his picks from head to toe from the Earthkeepers line, by Timberland.
