Feed Your Need for Vitality

by Organic Spa Magazine

We focus on the sunshine for the replenishment of our Vitamin D reserves, the Vitamin A in carrots for clearer vision and the obvious benefits of fresh, organic orange juice--both for its delicious taste and Vitamin C. But we seem to skim over the E in our vitamin alphabet.

Also known as Tocopherol, Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant. Important for providing immunity in cells and protecting them from damage caused by free radicals, it has a major function.

Spring-clean your immune system by bringing some of these healthy foods, all rich in Vitamin E, into your daily daily diet. Get creative and garnish a kale salad with fruits and nuts. Or grab a small handful for a snack.

Snack Options:

● Almonds
● Raw Seeds (Pumpkin, sunflower or sesame)
● Spinach
● Kiwi & Mango
● Papaya
● Avocado
● Dried Apricots
● Pistachios & Peanut Butter
