3 Steps for Soft and Healthy Hands

by Organic Spa Magazine

It's important to get in the habit of a skincare regimen for you hands, just like you do for your face. The same basic principles apply, though the hands will actually need a little extra love and moisture, since they are already extra dry.

At-Home Hand Regimen

1. Cleanse and Exfoliate

Wash with a gentle glycerine or super-fatted soap and use a gentle scrub. TRY: Tata Harper Smoothing Body Scrub, with Himalayan and Hawaiian sea salts, apricot seed powder, and organic sugar; Sweet Lily Hand and Foot Scrub with sugar, olive oil, almond oil and healing essential oils.

2. Moisturize

Do this twice a day, and always after doing dishes or washing your hands. TRY: Vapour Beauty Rescue Advanced Serum for Hands, with rhubarb root, vitamin B, prickly pear extract, organic camellia oil and peptides to plump lines and wrinkles, plus fade spots.

3. Apply Sunscreen

Sun exposure can lead to wrinkling and sunspots. When you apply SPF 30 to your face in the morning, wipe the excess onto the backs of your hands. TRY: Marie Veronique Everyday Coverage SPF 30.
