Glow On

by Celia Shatzman

Warm up your skin this spring by strobing

Does your skin still have a winter-weather hangover? There’s an easy way to fake a glow: strobing. The biggest beauty buzzword isn’t going anywhere, since the trend flatters everyone.

“Pick a shade lighter than your skin tone for the brightest, most popping highlight,” says Michelle Ramos, celebrity makeup artist and cofounder of Rituel de Fille. “Apply to areas of the face that would naturally get touched by the sun. Apply cream-based highlighters with a tapping motion to keep it bright and avoid totally blending into your foundation. Try adding to your cupid’s bow to add a nice pop and definition to the lips—it makes them appear fuller.” Give these highlighters a try.

RMS Beauty Living Luminizer Sheer and subtle, just a dab from this little pot goes on so silky smooth that you won’t even feel it on your skin. Swipe it over lids as a shimmery alternative to eye shadow. $38; RMSBeauty.com

Rituel de Fille Rare Light Luminizer in Ghost Light An icy pink with violet-blue undertones is just what you need to add an unexpected pop. $29; ritueldefille.com
