The issue you're holding in your hands marks our second-year anniversary. We couldn't think of a better time to address you, our wonderful readers, and to share some highlights and thoughts about our exciting journey.

As most of you have surmised by now, Organic Spa Magazine is truly a unique publication. We are much, much more than a magazine about "organic spas." You notice this immediately once you "look under the hood," as we like to say. We're about infusing spa wisdom into every facet of your modern green lifestyle-be that at home, at work, at play, or at rest.

We've said it since day one: We're about the merging of two very important worlds-the spa world and the modern green world. Both share the same mission and principle of living a more meaningful and balanced life. The spa world helps you delve inward and focus on your quest for health and wellness, while the green world encourages you to look outward and focus on the environment, the choices you make in your daily lives, and the products you purchase.

Organic Spa Magazine's mission is to bring these two forces together so that every issue leaves you with a spiritual thought, a soulful moment, and a sustainable message.

And we've come so far. From having our inaugural issue recognized on the Martha Stewart show to being nominated one of the Top 30 Magazine Launches of 2007-we've certainly made our mark.

Now, as we move forward, we'd like to share some news with you. We'll be increasing our issues to a six-time (bi-monthly) frequency for 2009. And although we've all been affected by the recent recession, we see tremendous growth in this lifestyle category-and we thank you so much for your continued support.

Together, we will make a difference. And remember-the more you look after yourself, the more you will have to give to others, to the environment, and to the planet.
