How you handle the stress of the season has a lot to do with the kind of person you are. Knowing that, you can use specific strategies to deal with holiday demands and make the season what is was meant to be: joyous. According to psychic healer Pamela Oslie, “Everyone has an aura—what science calls an electromagnetic field—and we’ve all felt them. We’ve been instantly drawn to some people and repelled by others because we’ve felt their energy. That energy is expressed in different color bands that radiate from our bodies.”

If you want to know what colors best represent and support you through the rollercoaster of the holiday season, take Oslie’s color-based Life Therapy Questionnaire that better explains the color’s tie-in to your personality, compatibilities, best career paths and potential health challenges.

Once you know your color, discover your color personality and others signs that you are stressed, or need some extra help during the holidays:

Yellows are fun loving, humorous, creative, physical, generous, sensitive and natural healers.

Stress signs:  You’re avoiding, procrastinating or distracting yourself with addictions (food, alcohol, TV, sweets, drugs, caffeine, etc.). Your back or knees hurt.

Happy tips: Spend time in nature, eat healthier, get a massage and simplify your life.

Violets are visionaries, leaders, artists and humanitarians who want to help the world.

Stress signs: You’ve become overwhelmed, scattered, restless or impatient. Your thyroid may be unhealthy or your eyes may be bothering you.

Happy tips: Practice your favorite form of daily meditation, travel, and be with people who inspire and motivate you.

Blues are nurturing, spiritual, emotional and perpetually counseling others.

Stress signs: Exhausted from giving too much, you cry frequently and feel guilty or depressed. You may have throat, breast or reproductive issues.

Happy tips: Walk, breath, pray and remember all the loving things you’ve done for others. Learn to say no and spend time with supportive friends.
