The holidays are just around the corner. Though I just put up my decorations, I haven’t wasted any time sampling holiday 2011 nail polishes from some of the best natural nail polish brands.
Last week, I sported “Rina,” a gem from Zoya’s holiday 2011 “Gems & Jewels” collection. The Kelly green color and festive glitter made my nails stand out against a see of red and gold nails at the holiday parties I attended during the weekend.

{I love that Zoya's "Rina" from the "Gems & Jewels" holiday 2011 collection is such a true green. The sparkles don't hurt, either. Photo Courtesy Zoya.}
Zoya has been a favorite natural nail polish of mine for a while. In addition to being “big three-free” (toluene, formaldehyde and dibutyl pthalate), Zoya products always have such stunning, rich colors that are reflect the styles of the season.
To achieve a saturated look with just glitter polish (no base color besides a clear coat), my manicurist applied two thing coats of “Rina” and added additional shine to the sparkle with two clear topcoats. You really can get a dazzling, opaque look with glitter polish without globbing on thick coats only to have them peel and flake days later.
In addition to the festive fun of “Rina,” Zoya’s holiday 2011 nail polish collection features two other glitter gem polishes: “Kissy,” a sparkly red, and “Twila,” a sparkly blue.
If glitter and sparkle isn’t your thing, Zoya’s holiday 2011 nail polish collection also contains three metallic shimmer polishes — the “jewels.” “Holly” is a gorgeous holiday green; “Izzy” seems to be inspired by holly berries; and “Noel” is a shimmery mermaid tone for those who like to skip the holidays for the sea.

You can nab your favorite polish from Zoya’s holiday 2011 collection for just $8. If you fancy all the gems and jewels, you can get the entire collection for $48. If you’re more into just the gems or jewels, trio packs are available for $24.
