Fall for These Fruits

Pumpkin and cranberry are the stars of the season and full of beauty benefits

Fall for These Fruits

If pumpkins and cranberries conjure up images of autumn, then you’re not alone. These two fruits become popular around this season—they show up in abundance at the supermarket and become star ingredients in many a dessert... and cosmetics?

Yes, that’s right—pumpkin and cranberry do a host of good things when applied to your skin. “Pumpkin has long been used to remove freckles,” says Adrian Bryce Dior of Bryce Organics. It’s also loaded with beta-carotene (the same antioxidant found in carrots), “which has been shown to help correct skin damage,” he adds. Cranberry on the other hand is a great source of moisture and a fantastic anti-inflammatory.

This holiday season, when indulgence is the name of the game, why not extend the same to your skin with these all-natural (and a number of them organic) products? You’ll greet the New Year with a glow!
